Yves Duport is a fourth-generation winemaker based in the town of Groslée, a village located in the teeny, buzzy appellation of Bugey. Bugey’s topography could be described as a gathered, mountainous relief in the southern extension of the Jura massif mountain range, housing a patchwork of terroirs. FUN FACT! Bugey is the smallest wine producing region of France! The pinot grapes are cultivated on clay-limestone scree soils, whole bunch maceration for a week, then aged in old barrels for five months.
