They bought a single cask for themselves, bottling it as ‘Navazos n°1’ and since then, this hobby has grown into one of the most exciting projects to come out of Spain, with the team discovering and releasing small, chronologically numbered releases. Amontillado sherry is warm & cozy & reminds us of sleeping in late while soaking in sunlight. Darker & richer than a manzanilla or fino, we’re talking caramel/woodsy, tobacco notes but without the syrupy sweetness of an oloroso. Powerful & complex, with encyclopedic tasting notes: sweet potato & fig.
