Prior to taking the reins at 16 Mile, winemaker Morgan Juniper worked with natural wine icon Christian Binner in Alsace, followed by a stint as the assistant winemaker at Pearl Morissette! The ‘Renegade Rose’ is a blend of estate gamay and pinot noir, picked together, macerated on skins for several hours to delicately extract colour and aroma, and then co-fermented to make sure their union would be everlasting.
