Their estate sits where a river once ran which has enriched the soil and helped create a lot of limestone – rivers dissolve calcium carbonate from existing rocks and carry these minerals where they accumulate and the limestone forms! Plavina is a rare, bright and herbaceous red grape that comes to us having been aged in Slavonian oak barrels for 12 months to soften and solidify.
