A new addition to their portfolio, this Manzanilla comes from 30-year-old vines from two albariza soil vineyards (SOIL FACT! Albariza is a light, white soil that contains between 30 and 80 per cent chalk, and has similar characteristics to the soil in Chablis and Champagne!), which have been certified organic for over 15 years. Aged in a solera that was started in 2020, and bottled straight from the cask, this is a fresh, grape-FORWARD style of Manzanilla. FUN FACT! ‘Salicornia’, ‘pickleweed’, or ‘sea asparagus’ is the name of a wild, salty and gently bitter succulent that grows in the salt marshes and salt flats off the coast of Cadiz!
