Cabernet Franc | Les Landes is the lovable curmudgeon of the Bobinet line-up of Cab Francs, a rustic & earthy red that’s a bit grumpy but will surprise you with its warmth and generosity. Hailing from a 55 year old vineyard with extremely low-yielding vines, depth & concentration is top of mind for this earthy and rugged red, inspired by old-school Cab Francs of the past. Aged in new and old oak barriques for 18 months, illustrious flavours are on full-display – smoked cherry, cigar box, vintage leather chair, flowering tobacco leaf, cedar chest & a giant, old-school library stuffed with dusty, leather-bound books. The texture is incredibly buttery for a red, like a dramatic swoop of plum butter on a perfect white plate, followed by rustic, earthy tannins with a touch of smoke. Take this and a friend to the park on a hot summer night and let the wine light the way.

Just like Garbo, Carbo is a legend, an infamous cult wine with an unattainable elegance that unites wine snobs & everyday drinkers alike. Carbo is, of course, a nod to carbonic maceration, the mode of vinification used to give this single-parcel Cab Franc its dazzlingly bright & luscious red fruit flavours, like a hyper-pigmented Cab Franc with the volume turned to a hair-raising 10. Hazy sandalwood incense meets a silky, glossy texture with whimsical depth from 60 year old vines and eight months in old oak. Vegetal, fruity and peppery all at once, this is captivating & spellbinding, rich & refined, an engrossing experience to share only with those who Get It.
