Austin Winery’s ‘Rosso’ is like a mashup of the Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants meets Cinderella’s glass slipper, it fits everyone! Not just sweet, Cindy! Winemakers Ross McLauchlan, Cooper Anderson & Matt Smith began their project in 2013, establishing the first full production winery inside Austin city limits! The winemaking philosophy is simple, partner with small, holistically minded farmers around Texas, harvest the grapes & let them do their thing. So fun, so satisfying, so utterly and totally unique. Immediate satisfaction, with juicy & jammy, strawberry patch, richer backstage notes like a fine dessert tray – blonde roast coffee, 65% chocolate brittle & Madagascar vanilla pods. Pour alongside after dinner treats, whether that be cheese, sweets or plain old good company.
