Initially a woodworker, Lebled came to know natural wine through supplying untreated timber to low-intervention winemakers who have since become his peers (try the famed Sebastien Bobinet and Olivier Cousins!). Uncertified organic, made entirely from 50 to 70-year-old, menu pineau, a historic, obscure local grape known for its spicy, high acid and aromatic character. Named "I have you in my skin”, a multi-entendre for this 15 day, carbonically macerated chew toy orange. Pale evening clouds, smoked apples, frozen and zested citrus shavings on kumquat sherbet, spicebush, oversized corsage, persistent minerality & salve-like, caressing tannins. Enjoy alongside homemade tortillas stuffed with beans, cheese & salsa fresca.
