From the southernmost Beaujolais Cru, this certified organic (currently transitioning into biodynamic) Cru-level Gamay from Brouilly boasts an incredible richness and deep complexity well beyond its years, a wine that’s built to last, regal and age-worthy. Plucked from 50+ year old vines, whole cluster fermented with wild yeasts and aged in barrel for 10 months. Structured and voluminous in fruit with notes of blackcurrant preserves, coronation grape, stemmy dark berries & butcher block wood, followed by balanced acid and tense, ripe tannins. A wine that we can truly sink into like an enormous bean bag chair, worth breaking out the nice stemware for. Pair with cozy, fat-rich fare in front of a roaring, wood-burning fireplace.
