Winemakers Jean-Baptiste Menigoz and Florien Kleine Snuverink are a spirited pair growing vines and fermenting low-intervention wines in the heart of Jura’s Arbois region. Their seven hectares of regionally beloved grapes include chardonnay, pinot noir, ploussard, trousseau and of course savagnin, all grown organically and with biodynamic treatments when needed. FUN FACT! Arbois was the first French wine appellation (AOC), established in 1936! ‘Face B’ is whole cluster direct pressed savagnin that is aged for at least 18 months in old oak barrels to catch it’s breath and come out belting this sweet, sweet savagnin melody. Smells like JURA babyyy, sun warmed butter, the inside of a hot air balloon reduction, light graham cracker spices, bucket of LILY bouquets at your corner flower market, marshmallow fluff, grapefruit juice, salt, turmeric \u0026amp; cumin.
