FUN FACT! Arbois was the first French wine appellation (AOC), established in 1936! Made from chardonnay grown on limestone and clay, ‘Kilt’ is made in the regional style of macvin, here that means that 2\/3 is direct pressed chardonnay juice, while 1\/3 is an eau de vie marc – a distillation of the skins, seeds and pulp leftover after pressing (think CONCENTRATION!)! Triumphant golden raisin, roasted grapes, treasure chest, hibiscus blooms, sesame snaps meets buckwheat pancake, fall honey in black tea, caramelized parsnips, overripe apples on warm ground, rhubarb acidity \u0026amp; a pearly texture with a maple wash ending.
