Winemakers Jean-Baptiste Menigoz and Florien Kleine Snuverink are a spirited pair growing vines and fermenting low-intervention wines in the heart of Jura’s Arbois region. Their seven hectares of regionally beloved grapes include chardonnay, pinot noir, ploussard, trousseau and savagnin, all grown organically with biodynamic treatments when necessary and beneficial. From 50-year-old vines, in both vintages ’22 and ’23, the chardonnay was destemmed, macerated for ten days, then pressed into either stainless steel (’23) or barrels for one year (’22). FUN FACT! This name was chosen because when the chardonnay grape juice comes out of the press it is white like milk! How much does that latte cost?! Pink roses, apricot flowers, spiced apples, pear juice, a loooong minerality, a bit of wheat and field cucumber savouriness \u0026amp; a plucky tannic texture that coats the tongue.
