Prepare to be satisfied. A surprising Rhône syrah that pops up on the palate like a peek-a-boo donkey. The Domaine Lombard estate was founded in 1981 by Jean-Marie and Sylvette Lombard, who aided in the revival of the Brezème appellation after it was decimated by phylloxera (peaky insect that nearly destroyed all European viticulture). Situated between the northern and southern Rhône, Brézème has soft, cool nights and limestone dominant soils that gives syrah a fresh vibe. The Monicault is organic 10-40 year old syrah aged for 10 months in concrete tanks (70%) and barrels (30%) providing freshness and savoury power. Liquorice, sweet spices, black raspberries, iced coffee, plum jam, leather riding boots & a fine tannin structure. Pour alongside roasted lamb leg and mashed sweet potatoes.

Delivery:
For Toronto Orders (M Postal Code) that are placed before 8 pm will arrive within 1 to 2 days. Our courier delivers between 12 - 5pm Mon-Fri and sends tracking. We do not offer same day delivery on Fridays.
If you would like your item delivered on a certain day, please let us know at checkout.
For Ontario-wide orders, delivery will vary depending on the location but will take an average of 5 business days, or longer depending on remote locations.
We can’t *guarantee* shipping times outside of Toronto - we wish! - so please order early if you know you need your wine for a special occasion. Please note our delivery partners for Ontario do not deliver on the weekends.
