A rare, rural, rough n’ rigorous red for the wood-chopping champions of the world. Mathilde and Florian Beck-Hartweg come from a LONG lineage of Alsatian winemakers (try 16th century!) and their wines speak to both a rich past and compelling future. By handling the manual labour themselves, the contact with their vines and soil allows them to stay in tune with the environment’s unstoppable fluctuation and better care for their prized land. The lustrous pinot is from two vineyards, Pfirdel and Rebbronn, both sitting at the bottom of slopes with heaping soils of granitic sand and silt over pink granite bedrock, a beautiful rarity that brings about more layered and intense flavours by controlling vine growth through quick water draining. Gently destemmed to preserve the condensed aromas, then macerated for one week, and aged for 11 months. Craisins, dried plum, history textbook, rosemary flowers, VERY old wood furniture & Lapsang Souchong. Enjoy with anything they’d serve at a pub in Ireland.

For Toronto Orders (M Postal Code) that are placed before 8 pm will arrive within 1 to 2 days. Our courier delivers between 12 - 5pm Mon-Fri and sends tracking. We do not offer same day delivery on Fridays.
If you would like your item delivered on a certain day, please let us know at checkout.
For Ontario-wide orders, delivery will vary depending on the location but will take an average of 5 business days, or longer depending on remote locations.
We can’t *guarantee* shipping times outside of Toronto - we wish! - so please order early if you know you need your wine for a special occasion. Please note our delivery partners for Ontario do not deliver on the weekends.
