This rainbow array of sparkling faves is sure to keep you busy all weekend long - each bringing a fun and unique twist to sparkling wine! Deep red and extra-juicy Lambrusco from Italy, mineral-y and fresh Austria fizz and a cloudy Chilean treat!

Chardonnay, Central Valley, Chile | Not only are we forever fans of animal-themed wine labels, we are also fans of delicious, cloudy pet-nats that make you say ‘um is this wine?’. Despite its kombucha vibes, this is indeed a delicious sparkling wine from Chilean winemaking family Echeverria, who have been active farmers since 1740. In fact, their mineral-rich soils and deep history have an extra special element since their rootstocks are French pre-phylloxera. Quick lesson time: phylloxera was a louse that originated in the Americas and, along with many other aspects of colonization, wreaked havoc on European vines almost wiping them out entirely. ALMOST. But some very rare and very old vines still exist and are categorized as such, and this is your chance to taste some serious history! Rich, tropical fruit, citrus squeeze and a cooling herbal touch that makes this jungle-themed juice wildly cool and wildly interesting.

Zweigelt, Blaufrankisch, St. Laurent & Pinot Noir, Burgenland, Austria | The Pippi Longstocking of pink Austrian pet-nats – cheerful, high-energy and powerful! We expect nothing less from Meinklang, a stalwart of Austria’s biodynamic winemaking scene and maker of perfect weekday wines we’d bring home just about any day of the week. Lean, ripe fruit, a tang of springwater minerality & big, satisfying bubbles bring joy to our lives, so we’re keeping it around as long we can (we can’t, it’s that delicious). Spring’s first rhubarb, your own homegrown strawberry, raspberry Italian soda & elderflower spritz with a tart, buzzy finish. Pair with the thrill of the new & salads with a hearty crunch.

Lambrusco Salamino, Emilia-Romagna, Italy | While Lambrusco Salamino may be the best-known of the trio of Lambrusco grapes, it is also the most yee-haw of the three, the one with a will to thrill! This was fermented in stainless steel tanks before bottling for fruit-forward freshness and upon opening, greets you with a soft, floral fizz, lip-staining blue & purple fruit and plush tannins for structure. Pack it in your weekender for an easily impressive experience with absolutely zero pretension.
