ULTRA. RARE. BOTTLE. ALERT! Sincere, modest and endlessly talented winemakers Patrick Bouju and Justine Loiseau are at the centre of our French wine obsession boards. With neither coming from a winemaking background, their tedious care, undeniable connection to the land & zero-zero philosophy is aspirational to say the very least. The first appearance of ‘The Blanc’ since 2016 due to poor vintage conditions, these biodynamic chard vines range in age from 35 to over 60 years old, thriving on a small, mineral inducing clay-limestone vineyard. Between the tremendous care and terroir it is not unsurprising to hear this wine is mentioned in the same breath as the finest chardonnays of Burgundy and Chablis. Direct-pressed and aged on lees for 12 months (in partial new oak), ‘The Blanc’ is so self assured we’d guess it has known what it wanted to be when it grew up since before it was born. Fighting an invisible force in a fortress of all white, smokey rocks, lemon seeds fallen into your lemon pie, whipped and salted butter, electric lime & yeasty apples that moved to the tropics. Enjoy while reading Marcel Proust’s ‘Swann's Way’.

For Toronto Orders (M Postal Code) that are placed before 8 pm will arrive within 1 to 2 days. Our courier delivers between 12 - 5pm Mon-Fri and sends tracking. We do not offer same day delivery on Fridays.
If you would like your item delivered on a certain day, please let us know at checkout.
For Ontario-wide orders, delivery will vary depending on the location but will take an average of 5 business days, or longer depending on remote locations.
We can’t *guarantee* shipping times outside of Toronto - we wish! - so please order early if you know you need your wine for a special occasion. Please note our delivery partners for Ontario do not deliver on the weekends.
