Timothée Stroebel is a main character in the grower Champagne movement, farming more than three hectares steadfastly organically, and with immense dedication to low-intervention winemaking. He produces some of the finest Champagnes and Coteaux Champenois from the premier cru village of Villes Allerand, in the sub-region of Montagne de Reims. Picking the fruit later than is common for this region develops phenolic ripeness, while implementing long lees aging and keeping his interference to the absolute minimum allows the pristine fruit to show off every ounce of character. Harvested by hand, the red Meunier grapes see a short maceration for a dusty-pink hue, while the chardonnay is direct pressed for fermentation. Both are then aged for 18 months in barrel before being bottled in November of 2024. FUN FACT!
