We are delighted to welcome back FoodShare for this hands-on, interactive cooking class and seminar designed to help us recognize the ways that weight stigma and body shaming show up in our everyday lives. Based on FoodShare’s work in the area, they'll focus on tools to use for identifying and combatting weight stigma, and practical steps to take to keep working toward body liberation and fat acceptance for all. Participants will sip wines and bake a wild blueberry tart while thinking through how deeply guilt, shame and stigma are intertwined in the choices we make to nourish our bodies.
100% of profits will be donated to FoodShare's thoughtful programming. We have three ticket prices: one for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ folks and two options depending on ability.

Our Education Hours are seated and take place in our Salon, on the second floor of our shop, located at 1247 Dundas Street West. Please note all event tickets are non-refundable but we can transfer tickets to a new name.
Unfortunately this event is not accessible as it is located on the second floor and there are no elevators. There are gender neutral bathrooms on site and we will provide water and spitoons.
