Education Hour: Canada
WE’RE GOING COAST TO COAST TRY AND STOP US. Did you grow up believing Canadian wine is bad?? It is time to break the inter-generational wine trauma once and for all. Be it resolved that Canadian wine is incredibly special, diverse, and so much more than ice wine. From BC’s mountains and deserts, to the unique regions of Ontario and Quebec where wine growers & makers are dialling in what really thrives here, all the way to the maritime coast of Nova Scotia, where zippy wines are ready to refresh us.

Education Hour: Blind Tasting
Let’s face it, the classics (and all wine) are delicious, but they’re not exactly budget-friendly. As sommeliers, we live for the thrill of discovery: finding wines that sing with the same grace and complexity as the icons, but without the luxury price tag. In this new GW offering, we’ll explore the fine line between prestige and value.

Education Hour: Hybrids
Who gets to say which grapes are good grapes? This is one of the most dynamic topics in wine today and we can't WAIT to get into it. Did you know grapes are different species? Hybrids are born to thrive in challenging weather that is now the norm (hello climate change!). In this session we’ll explore the history of these grapes, their environmental advantages, and discover just how dang tasty they can be.
