Alexia has worked in and around restaurants, doing just about everything (except cooking—she’s been politely banned). She’s honed her skills at some of Vancouver’s most beloved establishments, including The Mackenzie Room, Burdock & Co., Bar Tartare, and the now shuttered Camp Upstairs (RIP to this gem!). Brought up under the wing of classic wine training, her passion for all things beverage has evolved into a love of sharing her knowledge, and an insatiable thirst for tasty drinks whose names she can barely pronounce. When she’s not at the shop, or tasting something new, find her out shopping, sipping vermouth, or hanging out with her dog, Dustin (yes, you can absolutely see pictures).

AGM Waterworks
Alanna’s love of wine was sparked during trips to the South of France as a teenager. Experiencing the sensory landscape of the Languedoc and her parents' affection for the mystical ferments, unquestionably rooted a curiosity and knowledge. After spending time as a yoga teacher, Alanna’s belief in holistic, earth-conscious practices extended from nutrition and fitness to grape farming and wine. She dove in head first as the wine director at the beloved Supply & Demand in Ottawa, creating an incredible like-minded community. When she isn’t AGM-ing at our Waterworks location, you can find her sweatin' it out in pilates, sipping an oxidized white or reading her friends tarots.
