Like a drinkable stroll through the vocal world of Patsy Cline, classic and comforting in the most sultry and transcendental of ways. Domaine Derain’s now co-winemakers Carole Schwab & Julien Altaber are keeping the spirit of Dominique alive, while also being co-winemakers of Sextant, one of our other fave natural Burg producers. Biodynamics are utilized with preparations of herbs, manure or silica to spray the vines and strengthen their natural defences, from vineyards planted in 1950 and 2005 in clay and limestone soils. Their vineyards have been certified biodynamic since 1989, and are located in Mercurey, just south of the so-called hidden gem of Burgundy, Saint Aubin. A backcountry odyssey, grit, picking wild peonies, foraging for thimbleberries and lemon balm, cranberry tonic & shots of homemade kirsch while cooking in a cast iron avec Hungarian paprika & sumac. Enjoy while sharpening you favourite bowie knife.

Delivery:
For Toronto Orders (M Postal Code) that are placed before 8 pm will arrive within 1 to 2 days. Our courier delivers between 12 - 5pm Mon-Fri and sends tracking. We do not offer same day delivery on Fridays.
If you would like your item delivered on a certain day, please let us know at checkout.
For Ontario-wide orders, delivery will vary depending on the location but will take an average of 5 business days, or longer depending on remote locations.
We can’t *guarantee* shipping times outside of Toronto - we wish! - so please order early if you know you need your wine for a special occasion. Please note our delivery partners for Ontario do not deliver on the weekends.
