From one of our all-time favourite regions, the Loire Valley, this sprightly, surprisingly dense Gamay from family-owned Domaine des Corbillières is always a welcome sight when we simply can’t be bothered to make our own decisions. The grapes were carbonically macerated for 7 days with natural yeasts and rested on the lees until the following Spring. Cherry pastill. . .

From one of our all-time favourite regions, the Loire Valley, this sprightly, surprisingly dense Gamay from family-owned Domaine des Corbillières is always a welcome sight when we simply can’t be bothered to make our own decisions. The grapes were carbonically macerated for 7 days with natural yeasts and rested on the lees until the following Spring. Cherry pastille, strawberry lollipop & a whiff of red liquorice with easy-going tannins and medium acid. Don’t think too hard about it, just crack one open and pour yourself a nice, juicy glass.
