The idyllic concoction of evoking classical elegance & salt-of-the-earth spirited wines. Recently, wine-barrel-maker turned expert winemaker, Dominique Derain has retired and sold his property to his once assistant Julien Altaber – the winemaker of Sextant, one of our other fave natty Burg producers! Their vineyards have been certified biodynamic since 1989, and are located in Mercurey, just south of the so-called hidden gem of Burgundy – St. Aubin. After harvesting the grapes from rich, clay-calcarious soil beds, the wines spend 12-18 months in barrel on fine lees allowing for a fine-grained & well integrated tannin. Stable full of leather saddles, cooked cranberry, dried lingonberry, riverside herbs, abandoned tobacco pipe & a damp forest after rain. Drink alongside a full belly of grilled vinegar turkey with chiles & rosemary.

Free Pickup is available at our shop, any day that we are open. Find our current operating hours here.
Delivery:
For Toronto Orders (M Postal Code) that are placed before 8 pm will arrive within 1 to 2 days. Our courier delivers between 12 - 5pm Mon-Fri and sends tracking. We do not offer same day delivery on Fridays.
If you would like your item delivered on a certain day, please let us know at checkout.
For Ontario-wide orders, delivery will vary depending on the location but will take an average of 5 business days, or longer depending on remote locations.
We can’t *guarantee* shipping times outside of Toronto - we wish! - so please order early if you know you need your wine for a special occasion. Please note our delivery partners for Ontario do not deliver on the weekends.
*Although we will always do our best to offer free shipping when possible, customers in especially remote locations may be contacted for additional delivery fees.
