Fledermaus (German for ‘bat’, aka flying mouse), is a single vineyard wine made from schwarzriesling, known more famously as Champagne's secret weapon, pinot meunier. The 36-year-old lithe and savoury meunier is carbonically maceration for six days to lift aromatics and featherlight fruit to dizzying heights. FUN FACT! 15 different species of bats can be found soaring over the vineyards from dusk til dawn, which inspired the winery to collect guano for their compost work! VA throwing rose petal candies at your nose, SO FLORAL you feel in disbelief, daffodil, quince flowers, broken sunflower stem, rhubarb, underripe strawberry & cold rice milk poured over wet stream stones. Pour alongside pizza nights in.
