A Nebbiolo that is firmly rooted in place and taste! Fifth generation winemaking brothers Valter & Paolo Anfosso along with Paolo’s daughter Francesca are a team of dreams! Their vineyards encompass just over eleven hectares in the communes of Barbaresco & Castagnole Lanze in Northern Italy. In the cellar the organic Nebbiolo is fermented in stainless steel by local yeast to keep things as pure and unadulterated as possible. Destemmed and macerated on the skins for approximately four weeks to extract these pleasantly firm tannins & then aged for 12-18 months to smooth out any ruffles – like an iron to a crocheted doily. Back-porch-aged leather couch, cherry jello, cigar club, cloves & dusty Earth. Pour alongside moody, broody nights-in & reading Edgar Allan Poe.
