An elegant beauty, with heaps of freshness & pure fruits balanced by just enough spice and earth. Sixth generation organic farmer Stefan Wellanshitz runs Kolfolk, named after a regional expression for an unconventional thinker. And unconventional he is, working naturally in the vineyards and cellar to showcase the high-altitude varied soils of Neckenmarkt. Mostly cherry forward and giving Rotburger from two older vineyards planted in the 1970s. Natural fermentation in semi-closed casks for almost 100 days, promoting partial carbonic fermentation to bring out Beaujolais-like freshness. During this time the wine is not moved, no punch downs and no pumping. The result is a fresh, easy drinking wine with an unexpected complexity. Aged for 11 months in large Austrian oak barrels. No sulphur added. Pair with chana masala and writing your Survivor application.

Delivery:
For Toronto Orders (M Postal Code) that are placed before 8 pm will arrive within 1 to 2 days. Our courier delivers between 12 - 5pm Mon-Fri and sends tracking. We do not offer same day delivery on Fridays.
If you would like your item delivered on a certain day, please let us know at checkout.
For Ontario-wide orders, delivery will vary depending on the location but will take an average of 5 business days, or longer depending on remote locations.
We can’t *guarantee* shipping times outside of Toronto - we wish! - so please order early if you know you need your wine for a special occasion. Please note our delivery partners for Ontario do not deliver on the weekends.
