A savoury, salty and near-sentient oxidative red-white blend of pure imagination. Dedicated farmers and visionaries Anders and Anne bring us into their world of charm and splendour through the looking glasses of Alsace and Ardèche. Their signature style is functionally food-obsessed, increasingly oxidative, ‘au natural’ (aka zero-zero) & requires, not an acquired taste, but possibly an acquired state of mind to truly enter their world. From 2017, the co-press of lifted, berried pinot noir and floral, gushing gew spent six months fermenting outdoors locking in texture and aromatics, five years aging in old barrels without topping up concentrating, and 18 months in bottle revolutionizing before making its way to us. Chunky salted pretzels, green, root-y and freshly harvested vegetal bite, warm basement full of preserves must, hot stone fruit musk & a luscious lactic wink ties it all together, like the bow on the back of your best friends wedding dress as you watch them walk down the aisle.
