Fourth-generation winemakers Alberto and Barbara Paltrinieri tend 17 hectares of vineyards in the historic area of the Cristo di Sorbara . FUN FACT! The intensely aromatic lambrusco di sorbara was originally derived by domestication of wild vines! ‘Leclisse’ is made exclusively from free run juice, lending to its gentle colour and sees a three month long second fermentation developing puckering bubbles almost like the wine is pursing its lips at you in contemplation. Pale copper in colour, mountain strawberry sherbet in Rome, watermelon leather, citrus flowers, rhubarb that has never seen the sun, muddled hawthorn, bay leaf & salty, cracked-slate minerality. Enjoy with hefty cheese tortellini, huddled around an all-night poker game.
