Their position on lavish clay and limestone with galets roulés (rounded river rocks) ups the distinctive & balancing minerality of this warm weather friend. Macabeu is a classic Catalonian grape that is beyond comfortable in this toasty French region. These organic macabeu grapes are from 30-40 year old vines that were direct pressed before 10 months of aging. Honeysuckle, rosemary salt, white peach, spun honey cotton candy & crushed stones tightrope walking on a strand woven from acid and wax.
