Application deadline: July 31st, 2026

About the Role
We’re hiring a new Creative Content Manager to help shape the next chapter of the Grape Witches brand.
As a natural wine company obsessed with storytelling, you’ll play a critical role in our small creative team where ideas are shared openly, good work is celebrated, and everyone has the opportunity to shape the direction of the brand. We care deeply about our products and our mission, and about sharing those through thoughtful design, compelling storytelling and content that people actually want to watch.
We’re well known for our social media, and we’re not interested in recreating whatever’s trending this week. We love clever ideas with a wink, and cinematic moments with details that reward people for paying attention. The best Grape Witches content has big personality and a strong perspective. We love an unexpected visual, an inside joke, a perfectly timed edit, or an easter egg that only those in the know will notice.
Working closely with the Head of Brand, you’ll help translate strategy into campaigns that strengthen the brand, grow our audience and share the many things we're up to. You’ll create some of our most important content yourself while collaborating closely with our wider creative team to bring larger campaigns to life. We’re looking for someone who’s excited to contribute creatively, challenge ideas thoughtfully, and build on the work of others.
Whether you studied design, film, photography, advertising, writing or illustration, or maybe you’re largely self-taught with exceptional instincts, we’re looking for someone with a well-rounded creative practice who loves bringing ideas to life. You’re just as excited by crafting the perfect reel as you are by making sure next week’s content is already planned, scheduled and ready to go.
You’ll probably love this role if…
- You naturally plan a week ahead instead of reacting a day behind.
- You enjoy balancing creativity with organization.
- You notice the little details that make good work memorable.
- You’d rather make one unforgettable piece of content than ten forgettable ones.
- You’re excited by the idea of helping shape a growing quality driven brand, not just posting for one.
While we’re big natural wine people around here, you don’t need to be. We want everyone who works with us to believe in what we’re building, but we’re happy to be the wine experts and leave the digital translation to you. Curiosity, strong instincts and a willingness to learn are all we ask. We’ll happily teach you the rest.
What You’ll Do
As our Creative Content Manager, you’ll own the planning, creative execution and day-to-day management of Grape Witches’ content ecosystem.
One day you might be editing footage from a wine tasting, writing a newsletter or developing a campaign for our Boat Party. The next, you could be scheduling a week’s worth of content, collaborating with photographers and designers, or helping turn a passing idea into a campaign that reaches tens of thousands of people.
Above all, you’ll help shape how people experience Grape Witches through thoughtful storytelling, memorable creative work and a consistent brand presence across every touchpoint.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Bring consistency to our storytelling by planning and executing our weekly content calendar across Instagram, Facebook and email marketing.
- Developing creative concepts and campaigns that bring Grape Witches, Wine Club, events and our community to life.
- Creating photo, video, design and written content across our marketing channels.
- Writing captions and story scripts that sound and feel unmistakably like Grape Witches.
- Capturing content during tastings, events, launches and everyday life around the shop.
- Collaborate with photographers, designers and other creatives to bring ambitious ideas to life and ensure campaigns launch on time.
- Build and send email campaigns through Klaviyo that people genuinely look forward to opening.
- Maintain organized content systems, production schedules and asset libraries that keep projects running smoothly.
- Monitoring performance and using insights to improve future campaigns.
- Contribute across every stage of the creative process, from developing campaign ideas to designing graphics, writing copy, capturing content, editing video and helping bring larger creative projects to life.
- Stay curious about what resonates. Use performance insights, community feedback and your own creative instincts to continually refine the work.
- Continually looking for smarter, more creative ways to tell our stories while keeping the brand feeling cohesive and intentional.
What We’re Looking For
The list below describes our ideal world, not a checklist. If you’re a thoughtful creative with strong instincts, a beautiful portfolio and an appetite to learn, we’d genuinely love to hear from you.
- 2+ years creating content or managing social media for a brand, business or creative organization.
- A multidisciplinary portfolio demonstrating creative thinking across several disciplines, whether that’s video, photography, design, writing, illustration, animation, campaigns or storytelling.
- Exceptional visual taste and an understanding of composition, typography, pacing and narrative.
- Excellent writing skills and confidence developing ideas from concept through execution.
- Experience planning and scheduling content using Meta Planner, Metricool or similar platforms.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Comfortable working independently, while collaborating closely with a creative team.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Illustrator, Photoshop or Premiere Pro) and/or Canva.
- Experience with Klaviyo or another email marketing platform.
- Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager and campaign reporting.
- Experience creating cinematic, playful short-form video.
- An interest in food, hospitality, wine, culture, and independent local businesses.
We’re especially excited by people whose creative practice extends beyond social media. Whether your background is in design, film, photography, animation, illustration, writing or something entirely different, we’d love to see work that reflects your perspective. Show us what excites you.
Perks
- A supportive, collaborative workplace with a team that’s genuinely excited about what they do.
- A hybrid work environment balanced between collaboration and focused work.
- Comprehensive health benefits, and 6 paid sick days annually.
- Juicy staff discount on delicious bottles.
- Frequent tastings, winemaker visits, and opportunities to deepen your wine knowledge.
- The opportunity to help shape one of Canada’s most distinctive independent wine brands as we continue to grow.
How to Apply
Please submit the form below and include:
- Your resume.
- A cover letter telling us why you want to work with Grape Witches, including the best sip you’ve had all year.
- A portfolio or examples of work you’re genuinely proud of.
We’re especially interested in seeing projects you're proud of that reflect your creative perspective, whether they’re client work, personal projects or something in between.
Above all else, we’re looking for someone who cares deeply about making interesting work.
We can’t wait to see what you bring.
