Seasonal Patio Server Role (Dundas & Waterworks)
The Role:
We are looking for multiple full time servers (4-5 days a week) at our Dundas and Waterworks locations for 6-8 hour shifts, including evenings and weekends. As these are seasonal patio roles, full summer availability is a must!
Positions run from May to October with shifts decreasing as our season winds down.
While we are big natural wine people, it’s not a requirement for you to be as deeply into it as we are! We’re looking for a passion for learning and hospitality, and we’ll provide the rest.
Must Haves:
- 3+ years service experience
- Ability to confidently speak to a rotating selection of exceptional and interesting wines.
- Desire to make wine approachable, informative, and fun.
- Detail-oriented; enjoys organizing and following systems to make the fun stuff happen.
- Sense of pride and responsibility in the space. We’re a small team and you’ll be a big part of it!
- Open & clear communicator who enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
- Upbeat, warm and enthusiastic.
- Comfortable sometimes working alone, with good problem solving.
- Can comfortably carry 30 pounds (a case of wine) up and down one flight of stairs.
- Smart Serve Certificate.
What We Offer:
- A positive, supportive, and inclusive work environment.
- $19/hour plus tips
- Paid sick days
- Learning opportunities
- Juicy staff discount on delicious wines!
Accommodations Statement:
We highly (and warmly!) encourage folks from communities traditionally underrepresented in wine to apply! If you need accommodations with any part of the interviewing and application process, we’re happy to provide. Let us know what you need. We are passionately committed to equal opportunity for all employees, increasing diversity at our workplace, and providing team members with a work environment free from discrimination and harassment.
