The second musician to grace our patio, Canada’s Queen of Boogie, violinist Maya Killtron is celebrated for her vibrant style and singular approach to Modern Boogie and 80’s-inspired funk. Maya’s journey into the global Boogie scene began with her breakout album, "Never Dance Alone," in 2019. Her follow-up album, "Persimmon," released in 2022, continued her rise, with singles appearing on numerous editorial playlists and international charts. Notably "Out Of My Life" secured a spot in the top 100 of CBC's Searchlight competition. Maya is a sought-after collaborator, known for her songwriting, producing, and arranging skills. She also tours as a violinist and vocalist for esteemed Canadian and international artists, including Juno winners Arkells and Haviah Mighty. As Maya prepares to release her highly anticipated album, "Toronja," she continues to forge new paths in her musical journey. Experience the energy and talent of Maya Killtron as she brings her unique sound to the stage, promising an unforgettable performance for all.
