A feisty, earthy and fiendishly powerful zero-zero grenache. With a background in fine dining and social work respectively, Anders and Anne now grow & ferment to their hearts’ content between the dazzling and disparate regions of Alsace and Ardèche. FUN FACT! We recommend finding yourself a copy of Anders’ rawly tender publication of his notebooks from 2013 to 2020, “Poetry is Growing in Our Garden”! For ‘Inside I’m a boat built of paper’ (a sentiment we’re sure many can relate to), the old grenache vines were handpicked and destemmed for maceration in their own direct pressed juices. After two years aging in barrels, we feel a guiding hand taking us on a cave walk, va and the memory of sugar coalesce, cherry gushers, sweetcorn, slate & blackberry carried reduction. Enjoy alongside your raw meat dish of choice: steak tartare, kitfo, yukhoe, koi soi or carpaccio.
