Often blended with other Puglian white blends, the grape was almost forgotten due to its low productivity. Here, it stands alone, aging in stainless steel for 4 mon. . .

A zippy southern Italian white with rounded edges and a fresh finish. Marilù are dedicated to showcasing antiquated Puglian varieties and bianco d’alessano is just that. Often blended with other Puglian white blends, the grape was almost forgotten due to its low productivity. Here, it stands alone, aging in stainless steel for 4 months maintain freshness and settling for 1-2 months in bottles before shipping across the Ocean to our table—change is hard for everyone. A wine made for sunbathing with the right SPF on, nutty and cooled pasta salads in massive antique steel bowls, grilled seafood on thin metal skewers with decorative handles. Expect pear slushy lined with balancing act acidity, Adriatic Sea mist, and peeled apple skins.
