Chardonnay, Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia

Light-footed & lighthearted. Owned and operated by the Lightfoot family, seventh generation farmers who deeply care for the land. The Annapolis Valley is a long, relatively narrow valley located on the western edge of Nova Scotia, situated between two parallel mountain ranges, along the shores of the Bay of Fundy. Close proximity to the Bay of Fundy and the world’s highest tides(!) creates an incredibly unique growing environment with tremendous potential for the cultivation of cool-climate wines. Certified organic and biodynamic, this small lot, single vineyard wine is stainless steel fermented and aged, providing a leaner expression of Annapolis Valley chardonnay you may not be expecting. Pale gold, lime pulp, gentle lees, hot flint, ocean stones & honeyed yellow apple slices. Serve alongside Époisses & vegetable terrines.
