Sextant means, “to stay the course and not lose your way”, the namesake and business model since the domaine’s inception. Since the tender age of 16, winemaker Julien Altaber has been growing into his status as a Burgundian wild man, and since 2007 alongside his accomplished partner Carole, their multi-pronged wine endeavours could not be more successful. Always organic vineyard work, no additives here, and 80% whole grape maceration that took place over 15 days to extract swaddling tannins while maintaining delicate perfumes. The gamay (65%) splits open on the palate with rushing crisp fruit and spices, while the pinot (35%) brings mineral structure and reaches out with notes of floral undergrowth. Tart white cherries, jasmine tobacco flowers, grass turning to hay, sumac, rose petal crushed between fingers, morels & spring chicken tannins! Pour alongside hot spring dips & having the words to Over The Rainbow stuck in your head. #OZforever

Delivery:
For Toronto Orders (M Postal Code) that are placed before 8 pm will arrive within 1 to 2 days. Our courier delivers between 12 - 5pm Mon-Fri and sends tracking. We do not offer same day delivery on Fridays.
If you would like your item delivered on a certain day, please let us know at checkout.
For Ontario-wide orders, delivery will vary depending on the location but will take an average of 5 business days, or longer depending on remote locations.
We can’t *guarantee* shipping times outside of Toronto - we wish! - so please order early if you know you need your wine for a special occasion. Please note our delivery partners for Ontario do not deliver on the weekends.
