The historic 15 hectare Clos Cibonne estate is spread over a sprawling hillside in the Maures mountain range, on the seaside between Nice and Marseilles. Certified organic, the regionally famed, rare and beloved tibouren (90%) is blended with perfumed, earthy grenache (10%) grown on the maritime influenced schist plots. FUN FACT! Only 18 estates reside under the Cru Classé appellation to this day, Clos Cibonne being one of them thanks to the efforts of Provence activist André Roux – who also obtained the rank of Grand Protector within the Order of the Knights of Medusa! Silky, 70% cacao bonbons, spiced brazil nuts, cranberry cola, Marlborough light, blackberry mash, cedar chest full of mushrooms & dried sage brush. Pour alongside suckling pig and Moulin Rouge.
