She fell in love with Domaine de Montrieux’s Pineau d’Aunis and when she heard about the estate going up for sale, she jumped at the chance, bought the Domaine and moved in that very summer – an incredible leap of faith that makes us want to pursue our own dreams of countryside living! Until that day comes, we’ll simply live vicariously through this transcendent Chenin Blanc, made entirely with estate fruit, fermented in tank and bottled with a minuscule amount of sulphur. A crisp, featherweight white that makes us wistful for the languid pace of peak sticky-icky summer with notes of waxy citrus, melon rind and crisp stonefruit, followed by opalescent acid and a clean, saline finish. Drink while giving all of your house plants a ‘lil shower in the bathtub while listening to Donna Hathaway.
