Zweigelt & Blaufränkisch | Atanasius joins Theodora and Winifred as the youngest generation of the Gut Oggau family, an irreverent wild child red blend who drove to California to sleep in their ’89 Land Cruiser next to the ocean. When Stephanie and Eduard Tscheppe are not busy being the darlings of the natural wine scene, they’re meticulously working the vineyards, doing more and more by hand every year, now with the help of some recently acquired horses. Atanasius leans into this, cooly smoking a hand-rolled cigarette by the stables they used to work, glorious in all of its savoury, meaty glory – cassis, scraped vanilla pod, dark cherry and pomegranate pith with a whiff of fresh tobacco & the floral lining of a dusty tuxedo jacket. Lean, equine tannins with a touch of saddle leather. Pair with rack of lamb, Italo Disco and the back of someone’s motorcycle.

Grüner Veltliner & Welschriesling | Gut Oggau winemakers Stephanie & Eduard Tscheppe are deeply adored by natural wine lovers the whole world over and deserve every last iota of praise & reverence they receive! The fabric of the wines hinges upon the existence of a fictional family, with every vineyard plot being characterized by one of its members. Theodora is the youngest member of the Gut Oggau fam, representing the most recently planted vines. This field blend of mostly Gruner Veltliner & Welschriesling is well-structured, but softer, lower acid, and more textural than previous vintages, floral & playful, like braiding yourself a dandelion crown. Taking a big fat bite of Fuji apple, walking barefoot through the grass, stumbling upon an abandoned herb garden. Mineral character is expressed through a compelling wet clay note which makes us think that maybe Theodora is becoming a potter! You go, Theodora! We support you in everything you do.

Free Pickup is available at our shop, any day that we are open. Find our current operating hours here. 

Delivery:
For Toronto Orders (M Postal Code) that are placed before 8 pm will arrive within 1 to 2 days. Our courier delivers between 12 - 5pm Mon-Fri and sends tracking. We do not offer same day delivery on Fridays.

For Ontario-wide orders, delivery will vary depending on the location but will take an average of 5 business days, or longer depending on remote locations.

We can’t *guarantee* shipping times outside of Toronto - we wish! - so please order early if you know you need your wine for a special occasion. Please note our delivery partners for Ontario do not deliver on the weekends.
