A wine that encourages us to, get tRaNscEnDEntaL wit it. High school buds Andrew and Issamu have entered the new-Cali scene with disco-fever & work exclusively with purchased fruit from Cali farmers that either practice organic farming, are pursuing organic certification, or work sustainably. A blend of (35%) plushy chenin blanc, (33%) green sauvignon blanc & (32%) floral pinot gris. After a 21-day maceration (26 days for the pinot gris) everything was blended together and underwent malolactic fermentation (think smooth as cheesecake), and aged for seven months, getting in touch with their physical form. Chalky minerality, fireweed honey, green pepper, plucking herbs, ginger chews & brûléed white grapefruit. Enjoy while the bass is thumping and your neighbours are at your door because guess what, it’s 4AM, again.
