This wild, untamed Hungarian pet-nat from former lawyer Horst Hummel leaps from the glass (and the bottle!) with a voracious appetite for life! Organically farmed (with biodynamic practices) from the warmer, southern region of Villány and named after the Karašica river running through it, it has an unexpected ripeness, a distinct spiciness and a savoury-salty edge to this slightly herby fizzfest. This wild, untamed Hungarian pet-nat from former lawyer Horst Hummel leaps from the glass (and the bottle!) with a voracious appetite for life! Organically farmed (with biodynamic practices) from the warmer, southern region of Villány and named after the Karašica river running through it, it has an unexpected ripeness, a distinct spiciness and a savoury-salty edge to this slightly herby fizzfest. Wild fermented and bottled without disgorging, filtering or sulphur, it’s a one-way ticket to complete and utter refreshment. Mandarin stem, pomelo rind, bruised petals, sourdough starter, dried green herbs & a spiced, earthy finish with softly lactic bubbles. Serve cold AF & open carefully over a glass and/or a sink because it’ll certainly explode out of the bottle, but that’s half the fun, right? Pair with Mr. Pretzels eaten in the parking lot.
