The ‘Rosso Mille’ is an excitable red blend, much like a model rocket – full of energy & ready for blast off. Italian winemakers Gino and Gian Luca have been converting vineyards to organic practices together since 2016. At 85% juicy, young vine Barbera it’s no surprise this finger-licking blend is all about freshness & pep. This wine is baking squash, smoked cherries, red Euro convenience store candies, zippy black liquorice lollipop, sun-scorched blossoming rosemary and thyme whiffs – while rich marine mudstone & sandstone soils lend gentle minerality in the form of chalky tannins. Rosso Mille feels like taking yourself for a walk after a day of thunderstorms has concluded and meeting up with your buds for a night of well mannered frivolity. Hot tip!
