Jumping for joy at this delectable & semi-sweet honey bear of a wine. After completing studies in eonology, winemaker Jean-Marc Grussaute joined his mother on their stunning 9.5ha of gently rolling vineyards. A blend of organically cared for, prestigious Petit Manseng (80%) & zippy Gros Manseng (20%) both from their home vineyard, as well as supplemented from a likeminded neighbour. Made in Moelleux (medium sweet) aka ‘late harvest’ style with 60g of residual sugar/L. The fruit is dazzling, balanced & reveals superb notes of tropical fruits such as pineapple marmalade, mango juice, lily of the valley, membrillo paste, cinnamon & an uplifting piggyback of acidity. Pour alongside passionfruit panna cotta while watching Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat with Samin Nosrat.
