Like our forever English-nanny-chic inspo Mary Poppins once dubbed herself, “practically perfect in every way”. History lesson ~ Babass and fellow natural winemaker Patrick Desplats founded Domaine des Griottes and were frontrunners in the movement towards zero-zero winemaking. Today, Babass and his partner Agnès work roughly 4.2 hectares of vines from several sites in Rochefort-sur-Loire (located in middle-Loire). 100% fantasy-inducing chenin blanc from vines planted in 1957 on crisp, schist soils. Every year the grapes from this vineyard are made into different, recurring cuvées, all depending on their sugar content and the level of bubbles created. FUN FACT! In exceptional vintages, a true sweet wine can be made from a couple rows of vines, called ‘My Sweet Navine’, add it to your bucket list! Through the curtains of RS (residual sugar), the intricacy and ferocity of these old vines is felt all the way from your head to your toes. Fierce flint, salty cotton candy, caramelized honey, bruised pear, fresh squeezed pineapple juice acidity, angelic lees & t.v. static bubbles. Transport in your patchwork handbag & pour alongside rooftop chats you wannabe chimney sweep.

Delivery:
For Toronto Orders (M Postal Code) that are placed before 8 pm will arrive within 1 to 2 days. Our courier delivers between 12 - 5pm Mon-Fri and sends tracking. We do not offer same day delivery on Fridays.
If you would like your item delivered on a certain day, please let us know at checkout.
For Ontario-wide orders, delivery will vary depending on the location but will take an average of 5 business days, or longer depending on remote locations.
We can’t *guarantee* shipping times outside of Toronto - we wish! - so please order early if you know you need your wine for a special occasion. Please note our delivery partners for Ontario do not deliver on the weekends.
