Have you ever shucked an oyster only to find a mysteriously luminous pearl inside? Us either. But that is what we imagine it is like to have Baia’s wine for the first time. Accomplished & accredited winemaker Baia Abuladze is from Obcha, a tiny village in the West of Georgia. Baia makes wines in typical West-Georgian style, lighter skin contact and unfading flavour than the heavier wines of East-Georgia. Otskhanuri Sapere is considered one of Georgia's oldest grape varieties and grows mostly in the Imereti wine district of Western Georgia. Destemmed and macerated for one month with 100% of their skins in Qvevri. ‘Otskhanuri Sapere’ has a potent ruby colour, net like tannin structure, and is balanced by an elegant tonic-like acidity. Black cherry sap, fermented plums, pomegranate jewels, sweet spice, toasty Earth & dark chocolate nibs. Drink when plotting how you are going to surprise them next.

Delivery:
For Toronto Orders (M Postal Code) that are placed before 8 pm will arrive within 1 to 2 days. Our courier delivers between 12 - 5pm Mon-Fri and sends tracking. We do not offer same day delivery on Fridays.
If you would like your item delivered on a certain day, please let us know at checkout.
For Ontario-wide orders, delivery will vary depending on the location but will take an average of 5 business days, or longer depending on remote locations.
We can’t *guarantee* shipping times outside of Toronto - we wish! - so please order early if you know you need your wine for a special occasion. Please note our delivery partners for Ontario do not deliver on the weekends.
*Although we will always do our best to offer free shipping when possible, customers in especially remote locations may be contacted for additional delivery fees.
