A Lamb-rusco akin to a Lamb-orghini 350 GT, wistful, desirable & enigmatic. Podere Magia, which means “Estate of Magic”, is located in one of Italy’s heartlands, Emilia-Romagna – but specifically the Western Emilia. The soils are of alluvial origin (loose clay, silt, sand or gravel moved & deposited by running water), distinguished by being extraordinarily vital and rich in biodiversity. The grapes are first partially fermented on skins before being transferred to bottles. Then the second fermentation is done by adding frozen must (freshly pressed juice that contains skins, seeds & stems) to the wine, and when done according to biodynamics principles, is in agreement with the solar system around February or March the following year. Blackberry surprise, black tea, black Earth, black cherry, roasted orange & a hint of black olive. Drink in your camper van while watching shooting stars.
