Like a reeeaally long bear hug with an old pal. Winemaker and father, Silvan, alongside his sons, Marko and Boris, hold up tradition and a respect for the land that has been passed down for generations. We’ve got six to seven days of skin contact to extract deep and meaningful tannins. The ageing is done in Slavonian oak barrels (600L) for several months, plus additional ageing in the bottle for six months to soften the edges. Primosic describes this beaut as an, “orange wine made from perfectly overripe grapes”. Intense pink with amber reflections, aromas of violets and stewed fruit, with Mediterranean bluff brush, apricot skin & undulating minerality, this wines says “thank you, I’ve got it covered” when you offer them help, because guess what, of course they’ve got it covered. Pour alongside grilled white fish & rich cream sauces.
