Welcome to the South! The land of lassos, BBQ & get this, really delicious low intervention wines in Ontario for the very first time. Innovative winemakers Ross McLauchlan, Cooper Anderson & Matt Smith have been fermenting their wines since 2013, sourcing pristine grapes from like minded Texan growers. This medium bodied blend comes from West Texas and consists of inky Montepulciano (42%), savoury Aglianico (30%) & multi-faceted Sangiovese (28%). A FRUITY nose, with fresh fennel, spearmint & shiso leaves, dark dried fruit sticking to your molars, white pepper, uplifting minerality & a long apple skin tannin finish. Pour alongside spicy spaghetti date nights, but look out (!) the last sip will come wayyy too quickly!
