From an 8th generation winemaking couple at a historic, 200-year-old winery, this organic red blend from Corbières in Southern France is classic & family-minded but young & fresh like Cher in Moonstruck. Grapes are fermented in whole bunches with natural yeasts in cement vats with minimal oak and low sulphur. Full & rich, structured & spicy, it’s like you cooked down a bunch of berries with a splash of blackcurrant cassis (clever!) and black pepper (edgy!) with a slight liquorice note, followed by supple tannins and balanced acid. Promises to make fast friends with everyone at your dinner party & will even do the dishes at the end.
