A fresh, floral and zero-zero light orange from the Loire Valley. Calvez-Bobinet was formed in 2002, when 8th generation vigneron Sebastien Bobinet purchased a tiny 1.8 hectare vineyard and ancient limestone cellar from his grandparents. Organic since the start, he was determined to make the type of evocative, dynamic natural wines. . .

A fresh, floral and zero-zero light orange from the Loire Valley. Calvez-Bobinet was formed in 2002, when 8th generation vigneron Sebastien Bobinet purchased a tiny 1.8 hectare vineyard and ancient limestone cellar from his grandparents. Organic since the start, he was determined to make the type of evocative, dynamic natural wines he loved, and was later joined by his dancer-turned-sommelier wife Emeline Calvez who brought the domaine to its final and beloved form. Picked from limestone soils, the chenin blanc was harvested by hand, destemmed and macerated for five days on skins for a gentle extraction or orange-ette(!) hue, and aged for five months to get ever CUTER. Pretty flowers everywhere, simply a pear, discrete but present tannins, lemon zest, silky, supple minerality & a long walk in the countryside. Pour alongside rewatching Honey I Shrunk the Kids.
